How’s Your Vision?

How’s Your Vision? Do you have a vision for your life? For your family? For a career? For a ministry? God’s Word talks about the importance of visions in Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. What is your vision? Has it been so long since you’ve thought about it, that you can’t think of an answer? Or is your response so close

Power in Prayer

Knowing that intercessory prayer is our mightiest weapon and supreme call for Christians today, I pleadingly urge our people everywhere to pray. Let there be prayer at sun-up, noon day, at sun-down, at midnight, all through the day. Let us all pray for our children, our youth, our aged, our pastors, our homes. Let us pray for our churches. Let us pray for ourselves, that we may not lose the word ‘concern’ out of our

Summing it all up

I can’t believe Friday is here. Really! I woke up thinking it was Thursday, but then I remembered that it was Friday and got my focus! I’m Late, but Jumping In with Both Feet, so to speak

So despite circumstances this week (read tomorrow’s post) – I really feel I need to jump into a new challenge with Courtney, from Women Living Well. If you don’t know Courtney, you should take some time to get to know her. Courtney has been on the Rachael Ray show (seriously!) and shares a really counter-cultural life of living for her Lord – and her husband. If you are like me, you will probably be intrigued,

RePost: It’s Just a Turtle Pecan Sundae!

I wanted to repost this again as I am getting ready to launch a new section for my Queen Size Mommy posts – which will center on my food addiction, struggles with eating and weight – and striving for GOOD HEALTH. One of my favorite summer treats really is ice cream. I’m a “texture” eater and I love the disparity between the cold ice cream on those hot days that weigh me down with heat
